The Tears of a Clown

Now if there's a smile upon my face…

Grace Marian Frew

Twenty years or seconds is of no consequence.

I want to tell the world quietly, how much I love you, and how you still hold the hearts of Anita and I.

How we remember your gentleness and selfless courage, and how I still hear your soft voice talking to me when I awaken or when I close my eyes at the end of the day, and in between, through all of its many trials.

On this day we walk together.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum, Benedicta tu in mulleribus.

From your loving son, Stuart.

  2. Hello Rita, I remember you! How nice to hear from you! I certainly also remember my mum talking about your mum.

I will ring Anita and tell her that you have been in touch. I’m sure she will be really pleased that you dropped by. She lives in Woodborough about five miles away from Arnold and hs been there for many years. I still live close by in Redhill.

Interested to hear of your writing and hope that you enjoy being involved with a group. That sounds fun. I’ve always written, mainly for my own enjoyment but also some professional copy writing. Words have been a big part of my working life as for many years I was a proof reader in the print trade.

I will be back here when I’ve spoken to Anita! Best wishes Rita, Lovely to hear from you.
