The Tears of a Clown

Now if there's a smile upon my face…

I am the Son…

I AM THE SON,

Of a man who worked in the pits of Fife in Scotland,

In eighteen inches of water, on his hands and knees.

As a fourteen year-old boy.

And who came for many a year, to work in the deep coal mines of Nottinghamshire.

To put food on his family’s table.

I will not forget these men, and their families.
